My poor mini is starting to look a bit sorry for itself, along the bottom of the drivers door especially:( . I think next year I may have to get it sorted out and while I know won't be able to get a quote without someone taking a look, I just need a rough idea of how much it could cost?
Can anyone give me a rough idea so I know how much I'm going to have to start saving!! Also any suggestions of places to take it would be helpful!

depending on how bad it is...its easy to do yourself, filler is only about a fiver and paint should be about £10 to prime it and get a few good coats on... pat (minus man) owns a bodywork shop in brighton and would be able to sort it if u want a professional job done on it, but without seeing it i dont think anyone can give a good estimate

Yeah, a couple of pics would help. If the door has had it http://www.minidoor.co.uk/ are good for mini doors.

Ok, thanks for that, I'll try and get some photos posted soon, only want a rough idea. I would like it to be done properly, not something I would like to attempt myself!

the outside is just the skin but if the inside bottom is rotten then your looking at two new doors (like me) although I have seen repair panels that can be welded onto the bottom of the door and then you just reskin the door and repaint
Im gonna get mine done in about a years time, hopefully get Pat (minus man) to do it

I expect I'll get it done next year some time, good to know who to go to! The passenger side is fine at the moment, it's done well considering it's age (e-reg).
Thanks for the help.....here's a better photo of my pride and joy!!:D

yes Id suggest either ignoring it for a while (I covered mine up with some decals) or getting it done properly (Pat) but not a filler and bodge job
