Well i am going to try and make my Mini as quiet as i possibly can. So what i ask is what is in your opinion the quietist performance exhaust. I thought it was the RC40 but only in the mild steel. As i have the Stainless steel version and it is indeed very loud. So what do you reckon guys and girls.

stick with the RC40 or add a centre box

But my exhaust is loud (the stainless version) especially around the 4000 rpm mark which is where most of my cruising on motorways is done and it has a centre box. I have had the mild steel one and that was a lot quieter but not really quiet. And i know a mini is never gonna be a Lexus or bmw but i wanna try and get it somewhere nearer as i need ear defenders at the moment:p

Yeah but not good as a performance and think it would restrict my engine a bit :D and they look crap.
FAZ
have u got an LCB fitted or standard one? That'll make a lot of difference

LCB i was going to go for a cooper freeflow from manifold as it is meant to be quieter but wasn't sure.

By the time you've put all your gear in there I think performance isnt really going to be an issue. Stick a standard exhaust on and then stick a chrome end cap on it. Then sell me your exhaust.
