i need to get new back tyres for my equinox but i have no idea which ones like size wise to ring up and get quotes does anyone know?

If you look on the side of the tyre it will have some numbers on, something like 165/60/r12 this will be the size you need to ask for.

Unless you want performance tyres (more grip, wear out faster) then brand of tyre won't really matter.
