Well I've been given another challenge, thats to fix up and modify this hideous piece of junk.

That includes removing and replacing the front of the car, and giving it an engine transplant as well as a bigger braking setup.

Thats no problem, I can do that, but my time scale is 20 days, until I got back to work on the 19th of March.

Can it be done? Guess we'll find out.

As you can see, there is more than enough rusty panels so it won't be easy.

However to make the odds a little fairer, I do have this as the donor car.

Is this a personal chalenge, or something someones asked you to do for them?

Looks like you will have more than enough to do for the next 20 days.

Good luck.

All is going well so far, the new front end is complete, lining up the A-panels was the worst part. Fortunately the sills are rust free like the floor.

Now I'm just taking the rest of the car apart.

The rear radius arm is bent and so the rear wheel is very badly slanted, but thats where the blue donor car comes in, for spare parts. And when the blue one is restored it wont need original mini parts anyway, well thats another story.

It'll soon be complete with a 1.3 Supercharged engine, trusty old Eaton M45 fits perfectly.

Its my sister's first car, she really wanted a mini and I found this old crapper for £100, it has tax and MOT too and now I just have to fix it up.

Anyway, break time over, back to work on it now, see ya!
