What is is that makes the 'ticking' noise when you have your indicator on - is it the indicator relay under the dash?

Darren i have the same problem as you, the thing that cancels the indictors is broken for right indication. The light holder for the light which flashes when i am indicting has crumbed away, so i don't have any way of knowing when i am indicting.

I picked up a green 'warning light' in hellfrauds today for 99p or something, disconnect wires from old light, connect to new and hey-presto working indicator light!

I have found out why I cant hear my indicators ticking. It's because I don't have a flasher unit under the dash, some genius has put it in the engine bay!! At least I have a light now

<<edit>>Ben, the light was with the little bags of connectors and other electrical 'goodies', not with the bulbs 'n stuff.

the clicking noise works because the flasher unit behind the dash clicks into a holder on the body behind where the clocks fit. this amplifies the click so you can hear it
