Keeping british!

I know its nothing to do with Minis, however we have decided to support the british motor industry further by making our next vehicle "very" british. We therefore brought a Land Rover Discovery yesterday!:D

It is really lovely with a 2.5lt turbo diesel engine. A bit different to Roo with her 998cc! However I will not be neglecting Roo in spite of her bigger bolder brother. The main reason we really went for one is that because I use Roo as my everyday vehicle which is soo cheap to run etc we thought we would go for a more powerful family car to pull the caravan and have more space etc. Now to sell the omega.

Aaah, a 4x4 eh. I hear that if you drive a 4x4 you can choose if you want to obey the highway code or not :p

Isnt Land Rover owned buy PAG (Premier Automotive Group) which is owned by Ford, which is American?!

They are however made in Birmingham somewhere.

Adam - that's right, with three kids, one dog and a caravan to tow I think the Landy will serve us well. :p

Mike - at least it has a full British reputation, along with the Mini, even the name Mini is now owned by a German, so its at close as I can get to being really "British":rolleyes: with the space and power we need.
