Hi All,

I want to start work on repairing rust around my sills / windows etc.etc.
I know the basics but was wondering if any of you could offer me any advice or any good resources for help on this process.

I have a friend who recons you cannot achieve a professional result without using a proper spray gun???
Do any of you carry out this sort of work yourselves?
Have any of you had this work done professionally - would you say it's worth investing the money?

Any advice ould be really helpful
Cheers
Dave

he's right, you cant get a professional result without using a proper spray gun.

theres a few members here who can reccoemend a good coachworks, personally i'd say give Pete a ring at Hatches Garage on 01903 718883. He specialises in Minis & coachworks.

Actually Pat (my other half) is a bodywork repairer/sprayer by trade. You could ask him for advice/quote, he is however extremely busy and you have to push him to set a date if you do want any work done. He gives 10% discount to members. give him a ring if you want - 07904433676.
