Just got my first mini a p reg cooper in spot on condition and only 55,000 on the clock (well i thought that was good lol) hi everybody :D

I have a bionic Cooper - it keeps going to the garage for new parts and about 50% of it is less than a year old! Its a 1991 cooper (carb) with a 1300 MG metro engine

Well that's an interesting questiion, living in chester at the moment, been to uni here, got myself a job down in brighton which I'll be starting shortly and thought this would be the perfect forum :) The car is metalic blue, not sure what the name of the colour is it's like a navy will get some pics if the weather improves this weekend (think it's going to) Paid £3000 for it, don't want to look around anywhere in case i realise that was too much, it was love at first sight really..................

That sounds to me like the Metallic Tahiti blue colour coopers or it might be Midnight blue. If it has the Silver bonnet stripes and other silver decals then it's the 2000 model cooper....the last ones they made, so they gave them silver decals instead of white ones (Can't think what year P reg is?)

Anyway if it's in really good condition, Engine, interior, exterior, and subframes etc with only 55,000 on the clock £3000 sounds like a good price to pay for it.
