Minus Man has a Jap stainless exhaust and its damn loud !
i like the thought of you piking it up ! Does that mean you are fitting a tow bar for a caravan
How does it run on 13x7s ? Does it put the power down on the road?

Why do you say that is it heavy?
yeh i heard someone had one in brighton? do you no who it is? and what engine its on? as im going to have to mod mine as it fits to a cat, that i done have:rolleyes: so was going to cut the bracket off and try slide it over old pipe and clamp it(see pic)
http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/84/japkd0.th.jpg (http://img514.imageshack.us/my.php?image=japkd0.jpg)
im going to get it in my car as i dont like driving my car on motor way it makes me death!
it runs fine! and pulls away quick i have trouble sometimes even geting the power down without spinning the wheels im looking at geting a rev limiter to help fast pull aways and will sound AWSOME! with the exhaust on, cornering is pretty good can chuck it into corner and will just go round it! ive heard so many people say 13s are poo! with pulling away and corning but tbo they not that bad! the only bad bit i dont think is in the wet they pants! ive had so many near misses coming off the road in the wet but i have got pants tyres on pirelies and they brand new:confused: wana go back to some yoko 48s:p
cheers o

HI PULSE I LOVE THE DE-BUMPERED LOOK ,I WANT TO DO THAT TO MINE WHEN I GET ROUND TO IT. I THINK 13S ARE GOOD IF YOUVE GOT THE POWER TO BACK THEM UP WHICH IT SOUNDS LIKE YOURS HAS.
WELCOME TO THE FORUM AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AROUND :)

Hi. My names Andy. Im new to the forum but have heard of the Brighton Mini Club before. I did the London To Brighton Mini Run 2007 with my friend who i used to work with. We did it in his mini and i loved absolutley every second of it. I want to get a oldskool mini for my next car and hopefully get into doing all the mini meets and things like that so i can meet new people and enjoy what i have always wanted to do... own my own mini !! lol
I would love for anyone to either private mail me or leave us a message with anything that will help me to get my own mini, any tech talk and recommendations as to where to get parts, resprays etc.. I would appreciate it very much.
Looked foward to hearing from anyone soon
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy. You should start up your own newbie thread - we nearly missed you there!!!
As Lee says come along to a meet and you'll get all the knowledge you need - and more besides, great friends, good laugh and a passion between us all for a classic little icon. Welcome.

Hi andy, warm welcome to the site. I'll be the third to say it - come along to one of our a meets, we ave them on the second Tuesday of every month and the Last Sunday of the month, at The Swan Inn in Falmer, it's the same turn off for Sussex Uni and turn left at the round-a-bout as if going to the Uni but then turn first right and then right turn again to come around by the Pub. I can pnly give limited advice on minis myself, lol.
Cheers,
Jam

I didn't get around to properly saying hello Andy but I was the one with the silver mountain bike hanging around with this lot and sometimes going around on my own or with Lee taking photos.

ORC (oval race club) is based just off the A280 between worthing and angmering. take the A280 from the A27, take the right turn towards angmering village then turn immediately right again into the lane - it's well signposted.
