Hello and welcome to the nut house! Congrats on buying a little piece of British history - they are loads of fun, and can be very expensive to maintain, normally thanks the the English weather and the dreaded tin worm!
Come along to a meet soon, it'll be good to meet in the person. Don't forget to wave when you see us as well.
Michelle.

There's a couple of other people that come down from Burgess Hill/Haywards heath so you could hook up with one of them and they can show you the way, Darren in Burgess Hill is a good bet as he's usualy at all the meets, he's the one that owns the shortend mini with no roof that you may of seen driving around up there, most of it is painted in oxide red primer at the mo waiting (for some time, lol) to be re-painted.
His name on here is Darren Divall, send him a private message saying thatyou will need to know how to get here and I'm sure he'll be willing to meet you that evening and show you the way.
Here's my quick directions anyway just incase (they might be slightly wrong which hopefuly someone will pick up in if they are, lol) -
The easiest way for you to get down to us for the meet is getting onto the A23 from Burgess Hill down towards Brighton and follow it down and towards Brighton, when you go past the 'Brighton pillars' make sure you're in the correct lane to turn off onto the road to the left, you will see some a sports field on your left with big huts in it just before you need to turn off to your left to join the A27 towards University Of Sussex and Lewes.
Then follow the A27 untill the exit on your left for the University of Sussex, take that exit up to the roundabout, take the first exit at the roundabout going towards the Uni,
Take the right hand turn just after the roundabout, then right turn again,
Drive down there around the side of the pub and round to the front where you should see at least 1 or 2 minis unless you're the first one there, lol.
Sorry if that sounded a bit confusing, I'm not always that good at writing directions down, it might just be best if you send a private message to Darren Divall, if you're not sure how to send one just ask and I or someone else will take you through it.
cheers dude,
James :D

Yeah don't worry we won't put your mini down dude, a lot of the club members have probably had some shocking minis in their time (and some may well have shockers now :p :D). You've got one up on me anyway because I don't even own one now, lol.

28-01-2008, 02:05 PM
wahay! another younger member-im a very young 20!;) im beech hill estate-just down from the hospital.

McDuck
28-01-2008, 02:36 PM
thats pretty near me then as im folders lane end of burgess hill and meeting up would def be good!
i would go up ditchilng beacon but i think thermostat on my mini is going/gone :( as its been running kinda warm lately and ive been advised by parents etc not to go that way "incase your car blows up", that and be being the muppet i am i have no idea how to fix it!
as for pics, none as yet until i find ways of photoshopping out the gaffa tape!
