Hiya,

Just thought I would join in the fun. My name is Keith and I live in Burgess Hill. I own a 1994 Mayfair that im gradually giving the MK1 look. Its been sat in my garage for the last 6 months collecting dust but I had to dust it off for the MOT last week which it passed and I hope to do some events this year in it.

Ive owned lots of mini's and dont think ive been without one for the last 16 years. My best mini was a black ERA turbo that I spent bank loads of money on and finally sold it to a guy in Belgium. I work as an AA partrol in the area so you never know I may have helped you out at some point. You would remember me because I always go over the top with mini's and make sure they are back on the road!

Anyway I look forward to seeing some of you out and about!

Hi there Keith nice mini nows the time to dust it all off as the show season is here at last. My mate had an era turbo was the last one built was a lovely mini probably the best production model you could buy. Anyway will be good to see you at a meet soon.

Hi Keith, warm welcome to our club site dude. Sweet looking mini you've got! the ERA turbo you had sounds like a very special mini!! It's all good to hear you've not been without a mini for 16 years, good bit of mini history from you there

Oh and I'm sure you have helped a few broken down minis out in your area :LOL:
If you've ever noticed a mini shorty flying about around Burgess Hill area without a proper paint job (Red oxide front end and the rest is black) then that's Darren :D

Thanks for the very warm welcome all. Just waiting until the 1st to tax the car now so I dont loose 4 weeks road tax. Sorted out a new battery from Halfords today as the old one didnt like being flat for 6 months. I was pleasantly surprised using my Halfords trade card to get the battery for only £26 when it was marked up at £48.99. Im off work tomorrow afternoon so if the weather is good I might even get to give it a polish. All this mini talk got me going through my photo album so I thought I would share some of my old mini pics with you. You might even recognise one of my old cars.
