Well, just changed plugs and battery neg terminal, started engine to see if i did it right.... first words out of my mouth were "woah!"

so i guess i did it right :LOL:

Depends if it was a "Woah! It's started nice and easy and is running well" or a "Woah! The whole of my electrical loom is on fire and the engine is running like a bag of poo" :LOL:

what do you mean by battery neg terminal? you mean the earth connection was dodgy?

The lead from the neg battery terminal to the earth in the boot. the whole cable was slowly fraying away and the connection to the battery itself was on its last legs. so i replaced it!

After this and the spark plug change the idle is just below 800 revs ish and when it starts up cold the engine isnt having problems keeping itself going. which also means less choke for less miles and less petrol being used.... yay!
