Hey everyone,
I have a problem at the mo with my break-light and indicators. The fuse keeps blowing. The units are fine, as I have checked them, and they seem to work fine when the car is NOT moving, but as soon as the car moves the fuse goes again. It's really annoying as I cannot drive my lovely mini without break-light and indicators..... and I wanna get out in the sunshine!
Does anyone have ANY suggestions, or had this problem ??
BIG thanks.

Thanks, the earthing has been checked and it's all fine. The units themselves are fine. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your time in this!

is it that they go out when moving or just when you start the engine ? And do they go out at once or after a short amount of time?

It sounds to me like a wire is shorting out somewhere
put the problematic lights on and wobble the wiring around,
if it is a problem with a wire the fuse will blow when you are near the faulty part
a good starting point is where the wires go through the front pannel into the wings

yep half-witted minds also think alike! ;) ... thats where my questions were leading if its a case of the fuse going when moving as the vibration could be causing a short on a loose wire
