OK, I have noticed one of our new members is a proud MINI owner. I have also noticed some hostility towards them, and to be fair, in return there has been some hostility back.

Firstly may I point you all in the direction of this CLICK ME (http://www.brightonminiclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=148)

Secondly I might add to that, that works BOTH WAYS, so could we also have no mini bashing from BINI owners also!

If this silly arguing continues I will have to get heavy and start banning some asses

Well said Daz this is a friendly forum and it is to be kept that way. I too noticed a few posts and was going to remove them but didn't.. All this hostility get's on my nerves so as Daz says "end it or goodbye".

i was wondering that too, but hey never mind, it's good that the record has been set straight, the only thing that worries me is that this could be aimed at me because of the first comment i made which i have since cleared up

The forum is a friendly one and I agree that no one should be made to feel unwelcome. I have friends who own new minis and they are their pride and joy, and as the commute large distances need a new and safe 'reliable' car. If anyone is being out of order, could any warnings not be directed at te people responsible in order to keep the forum friendly?

I can see the appeal of both types , binis will never beat classics round the bends or under breaking , but for refinement , reliable power , and safety binis win everyday.Bini bodyshells are only a couple of grand too , and i reckon you could fit a VR6 lump into an engine bay that big .Future customised binis may one day outnumber classics on the road , so i think its best to be nice
