A massive thank you to faz, steve and guys in the white land rover discovery for fixing the problem so i could get home last night. And a massive thank you to every body else for standing about in the freezing cold and drizzle as well.

So do we know what the prob is/was now?? Looked like the alternator pulley was jamming/not spinning freely to me

i think the bearings in the alternator are shaged so needs a new one
