boot floor

ive got a couple of holes in my boot floor (which u can almost put ur hand through)....ive heard that redoing the whole floor is expensive and a pain in the arse. both the holes are next to eachother and have pritty good metal surrounding it so ive decided to weld a bit of metal over the holes.... can i use my arc welder or do i have to pay someone to do it with a mig?

Mig welder is better as an arc welder will blow holes through as the heat is a lot higher. Mig is best. Pat can give you a quote if you want.

Yeah Mig is better As michelle says there are a few welders in the club no doubt someone would give you a hand.
