Dead Battery

Woke up this morning and after a coupe weeks of Bernie driving like a dream, his battery was dead...

Russ thinks the alternator... does anyone (preferably in Brighton area) have a multi-meter I could borrow for a couple days please??? :)

we went and got a multi-meter today and Russ thinks it the alternator, that it can't handle the load. Seems to register the right voltage when not connected but goes down when connected... so calling Clifford's tomoz and see what they charge....

yee-ha.... :(

If money is tight you could always get a secondhand alternator from Hove Car Spares( HCS )

Several alternators from '90s Fords fit i.e the xr3i's are the same as minis :)

I think the spare i got from them was £7 and was only to get me going again, its still going strong today :LOL:
