hey guys.

when i bought Archie the reverse light didnt work. Well me and Glenn, well tbh mainly Glenn and his dad fixed this. but then the indicators kept shorting out and blowing the fuse. Glenns dad has an electricians degree or something so he knows what hes doing so i dont think its anything to do with the way we re did the reverse light sensor. But now neither are working. and with it getting darker now id really like to have my indicators AND reverse light. anyone know of a 3d drawing of where the wiring actually goes, so we could check the wiring isnt shorting on the body.
Or should i just send it to Faz/mechanic and ask them to just fix it lol

many thanks,

Newbie Duncan

most likely is corrosion of the fuse box or one of the inline fuses behind the air filter coming loose. a multimeter and some patience is probably more useful than a diagram?

an inline fuse? behind the air filter you say, cool i'll check there then. replaced the 35amp fuse near the screen wash 4 times now so you dont mean that? yeah i know, but i know nothing about this sorta thing, carpentry is so much easier lol well i thought a diagram would be useful to see where the wires go through the car, cos if its an old corroded wire shorting on the bodywork... cos at first it worked while stationary and then would blow while going along, but now it just blows straight away lol
thanks for the reply mate :)

ah, well Glenn and his dad have sorted it for me :) big thanks to them both for thier time and effort :) turned out to be the reverse light cable just touching the bodywork :S all fixed now though :) thanks your replies guys :)
