Hey everyone,
Just Bought a new aerial as mine has snapped off. How do I get into the wing to remove the old one? Had a look under bonnet and could not see a way in.
Do I remove front O/s wheel and get to it that way ?
I prob could find it with some fiddling but thought it best to ask the pro's

Have a few elastoplasts ready for the skin you will take off your arms trying to get to the hole..!

Ha ha! I managed to do it and keep all my skin.
Got it done with lots of help from my uncle. Ended up jacking the car up and taking wheel off for easy access. The painful bit was getting the cable at the right angle to thread it through the wing.We got it in the end.
Next thing is new handbrake cable on thurs. Wish me luck haha!

Got handbrake done today was bit of a bugger to thread through hole just below the rear arch. Got there in the end though!
Next job is the chequered roof and mirror's on monday and then New poly bushes all round near the end of week!
Any tips on the bushes would be greatly appreciated!

Don't go for polly all around i would suggest rubber in the lower arms (minispares do a harder rubber one) and on the inside of the tiebar remember polly just squashes.
