Wanted: someone not scared of electrics!

Hullo,

Electrics give me 'the fear' but I would really like to give the electrics in my car a look over/sort out. Is there anyone out there that's handy with a soldering iron and multi-meter that would be willing to give the electrics in my car a seeing to?
I can be flexible with time, can travel to you if preferred, am willing to pay for/purchase in advance consumables and pay for your time/offer my skills in return. I can also supply tea and cakes whilst we (you!) work :)

That would be awesome. I think it's just gonna be tidying up the previous owners wiring job, he added in the dash and extra gauges but the clock, stereo and cigarette lighter are a bit tempremental. It looks like a ton of those clip-together connectors have been used and I'd prefer them properly joined and shrink-wrapped.

Sorry mate, got your message and thought I'd wait till the meet on Tuesday to have a word. But then you weren't there and I completely forgot!

I can have a look sometime if you like. What's best for you? When it's light would be a lot better so weekends or during the day.
