wheel nuts ?

What is the correct size socket to use for the wheel nuts with the chrome caps on ? wheels are 13" minlites .

MY are 12 inch and are a 17 socket

been using a 17 but they don't seem to be a snug fit as i found when the socket started to chew the chrome cap

The correct size is 11/16 AF which is 17.46mm so usually a 17mm socket does the job fine however the chrome caps usually swell up so an 11/16 socket no longer fits and you have to find one that does.
