the time has come to sell Oscar as my project car is almost ready, but i have run out of money...

it is a 1984 ford rosso red (respray) mini mayfair, it has 80,000 on the clock and is a very good runner and is in good condition for a classic mini.
it has.....
new subframes
new side sills
customised grill
front disks from 1275 gt
stage 1 kit
high compression head
good tyres
walnut dashboard
rc40 exhaust
new battery
new hand brake cable
new speedo cable
new throttle cable
new timing chain

the bad parts are the mot is due in about 2 months, it has a few body work spots (as all minis do) and some repair work needed on the front end (probably a mot failure if left untouched) the repair work is probably around £50 to fix but as i have my other car to take care of, i cant spent the time and money to fix it so i am forced to sell it... i am looking to sell it for 600ono and i have some spares that can go with it. if you are interesed or have any questions, then please give me a ring on 01273 846528

(thats oscar in my picture ^)

A few bits here and there and that would make a tidy little car by the looks of it.

sorry cant get out tonight -- i live in tadworth and dont as of yet have a car (or a license)--- i plan to have a mini as my first car -- would you say that there good for a first car ?

they are deffo the best first cars...i took my test in one and it was almost impossible to fail on the parking and 3 point turn :)

mine to insure for the first year was about £900 all in my name including the modifications etc. i recon u could get it for around £800 if you did it through a mini insurance. (which i didnt) so they are probably the cheapest first cars to have...

i have spoken to some people about the front end, and it will cost around 30 quid to fix...i could offer the car for £650 with a years mot and all the bits fixed or u can have it for £550 now? as i said....ive got loads of spares that can go with the car...

ur welcome to have a look pritty much whenever because im on study leave at the moment so give us a ring....

kewl thats sounds pretty good -- i think it would be best if you did get it MOT for a year and do the fix as you say, and if its what is described when i coem to see it ill pay the £650 -- but thats the problem i have exams at the moment and i cant get to hassocks easily -- for a start i dont know where it is -- halfway between crawley and brighton is all i know -- anyway i also need to get someone to come with me to drive it back becuase i dont as of yet have a license i only have a provisional -- so i need to get that sorted and ill get back to you when i can come and see it

really sorry ...but i sold oscar earlier today....

i spoke to my mate yesterday, and he is still selling his Ritz...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

mini ritz
1985 c reg
silver
chrome wheel arches
minilites
original interior with a walnut dash
40,000 miles
around 6 months mot left
straight through stainless steel dtm exhaust
cd player
good condition and low mileage...good reason for selling but must go quick so
offers around £850

this is possibly a better option becasue it already has mot and has done less miles

here's his number if u wanna take a look... 01273 846528

bern (sorry again)
