Newbie Saying Hello!

Hi All,
I have sent off my application to become a member of your club, and have just registered today to say hello!
I bought a 1994 BRG Cooper two weeks ago - its the first mini i've ever owned and can honestly say i love it already!!
I just wanted to ask about the show on sunday down in Shoreham. can i just turn up on the day? or do i need to book a ticket?

As for the show, just turn up. If you want to get your hand dirty we are meeting at the showground on Sat at 3:00 to get started on the setting up, some are camping over, others going home for the night.

I had a great time on sunday - don't think i actually spoke to any of you - i don't know faces so didn't know who was a member and who wasn't!!
I was parked between an orange mini with black mamba wheels and david "diddy" hamiltons sportpack!
I managed to pick up a few bits for my car which was a bonus - including the all important Brighton Mini Club t shirt and car window sticker!

Glad you had a good time, the orange car is Faz's - he is the main man of the club. The club members were the stressed looking ones in luminous yellow jackets!

What goodies did you pick up for your car then?

Ah sorry - didn't realise you were all marshalling - guess i should have worked that out!!
I managed to get a new front bumper, some pedals, chrome interior handle set and some union jack badges - all at bargain prices!!
I would like to come along to a meet at some point - as a first time mini owner i could do with talking to some people who know a thing or two about them!! when is the next one?
