OK, so we come from Patching on the west side of Worthing and the Mini is my daughter's '89 Mayfair that I'm "tarting" up for her. No doubt she will join either the club or forum or even, both in due course.

Currently I drive something a little larger in the shape of a 1980 Corvette but the plan is to sell it next year and buy a Mini which might even be quicker !!

I look forward to "chatting" with you guys.

That's what I call a nice welcome. How do I upload pics onto the site ?

The Vette is a 5.7l, 275bhp with Edelbrock heads and manifold, a Holley 600 carb, and ss pipes. Not a Sting Ray or even a Stingray 'cos those name s dropped off in 1977 (?). It's just the last of the Sharks currently guzzling 12 mpg.

It's my daily driver so anyone in the Worthing area has a good chance of hearing/seeing it. Painted Stealth Silver.

Your best bet is to sign up with photobucket.com When you have an account with them you can upload the pictures straight to there and under each picture you upload it will give you a bit of code to copy and paste onto the messageboard here to display the pic.

I've at last got around to a reply. The pic shown is a C2 1963-67 (?) and that was the first time I fell in love with them. Sadly they are out of my reach financially and do not make very good daily drivers.

I've been trying to post some pics of the Shark but to no avail....yet. I'll suceed and will try and get to some meets, eventually. Either in Vette or Mini.

I've just had the twin pipes joined by a balance pipe and the increase in power is phenomenal.
