View Full Version : Door locks and Ignition need changing
Hey everyone,
does anyone know a garage that changes door locks and ignition keys? My keys were stolen the other night and I need to get a new set of locks. I have no idea how to go about it so any help is much appreciated.
Cheers
door locks are easy you just change the door handles i think? And just get a new ignitition barrel? I got one if I can work out how to get it off.

Bryn are you talking about for your Micra or Mini? It may not be as easy on the micra, but as Barb says give LockManMike a ring or PM.
it's for my micra. But i think it is all cleared up now.
some kids stole my keys the other night. I took out the battery to stop them using the car but I couldn't use it either coz they had my keys. Police involved etc.
Saw them today trying to get the car started. Managed to get my keys back and Dad doesn't think they could've copied the key so I dont think it's needed anymore

These aren't the same kids who damaged your mini area they? I think they need teaching a lesson. You could have had a serious accident when they let your wheelnuts loose.
Well I dont know who did the wheelnuts but if it is the same kids then I'm sure it will all come out eventually. It is all moving in a good direction towards full justice. The police have a good lead and I've seen 3 kids up close and spoken to them. I have several other eye-witnesses who have seen the kids do stuff at various times in the past few days.

If you know who they are I would be very tempted to go after them myself, sounds like the little f**kers need a lesson from Mr baseball bat. I still plan to camp out in my parents front garden to font the punks that ran over my van
(This is just Internet warrior talk, I would never do anything of the sort and you shouldnt either)
I'd be tempted to get a steering wheel lock or something to put them off just in case they did get a set cut.
