I'm Paul, i have met a few of you at Minis by the Sea recently. Not brilliant at remembering names but we definitely met Darren, Danny and Sarah.

I was also the chap driving the cream coloured Beetle Cabriolet on a wedding at the English Wine Centre in the summer. We convoyed up from hotel Du Vin with three Minis.

I have just purchased a Stretch Mini, apparently the longest in the country at 16 feet long. It arrived yesterday and has been at the valeters all day today.
It is Solar Red with a white roof (black webasto) slightly tinted windows, it has four full size windows down each side. Grey leather interior. The front end was originally a 1996 equinox, 1.3 engine it has 13" deep dish alloys on 50profile rubber

I shall be taking her down the seafront at some point over the weekend to take some photos so will be able post some pics on monday at some point.


I like a lot of people my age had a succession of minis when learning to drive and after passing my test. I was responsible for killing seven of them, in succession, one through a hedge, one hit a bridge, one caught fire after i took off the air filter because it sounded cool! Etc.
I am lucky enough now to be able to have one for pleasure that will also be going out to work every Friday and Saturday throughout the summmer (Wedding Car)

Hi and welcome to Brighton Mini Club message forum. Would be great if you could join the club, we don't have a limo on our entourage list. Don't forget about bookings for prom nights. I know a few teenagers who would love a limo-mini for theirs, shame you didn't have it for this summers prom when my eldest had hers.

It holds SIX (including the driver) there are four seats in the back, conference style, two forward and two back then the two seats in the front.

Really though it is only for weddings so it will be bride and escort in the back and then bride and groom, loads of room to stretch out and drink champers!

I've worked out there is enough room to sleep in for London to Brighton next year, although from what i hear you lot tend to sleep in your minis anyway at L2B.

Thanks very much, it is already in good shape but i have further plans for it, it is having a smootharide suspension package on it this Thursday and uprated discs and pads. Oh and some new windscreen wipers.

I can see this car robbing me of my pension!!

If it books up as well as i hope then i shall be commissioning another one in Tahiti Blue for next summer.

That was me, outside St Margarets VW New Beetle Cabrio.
We have one going out tomorrow morning at the Town Hall, then two on Friday and all three on Saturday. The bugs have been incredibly busy this summer. This is just about the end of the season now, two more weeks then it goes i bit quieter, Although we have at least one bug out every Saturday throughout December!
